Braw /brɔː/ adjective
is a Scots word for fine, attractive and pleasing. I have chosen the name to reflect my deep connection with Scotland and my mission to help business owners create brands that others will call ‘braw’: Bespoke, Real, Authentic and Welcoming. Or simply Beautiful!

With a background in science, I started my career as a maths teacher. I later completed my accounting qualifications and spent over 15 years working in finance across various sectors. Now, I’m embracing a new path as a freelancer—combining my analytical mindset with creative problem-solving to support small businesses with the tools, structure, and visual presence they need to thrive.
I have always loved all things design and creating and followed this passion in my free time – jewellery making, running an outdoor blog, WordPress (I know!), creating ebooks, photography, just to name a few. After a period of health problems and taking time off to learn Canva and dive deeper into website development I made the decision to reshape my lifestyle and focus on what truly excites me. That’s how Braw Branding was born.
